Deerhooks and Hidden Tools

The mysterious and deadly deerhooks are a signature weapon of
the bagua kungfu player. Always used in pairs the deerhorn knives
have 4 points and 9 edges each. Deerhooks do not seem easily
concealable in the modern world, however they were possibly
the most dangerous sidearm one could wear under chinese robes
excepting firearms. Many bagua masters of old
used either extremely big weapons, or very small ones that are
easily concealed, often in pairs. Many of the smaller "hidden weapons"
of bagua are said to be trained using the emptyhand forms and require only
slight changes to be effective.
